Wired or wireless cameras:  If you are a fan of compactness, then you can consider wireless surveillance cameras. However, it is necessary to check the area to be installed, the signal of the internet connection is suitable for the type of camera that needs to be wired or not.

And most importantly, if you know someone who understands surveillance camera systems, you should ask that person for direct advice. You can also ask for advice from sales people or camera system suppliers. Here are other criteria you can refer to when choosing a camera to install.

1. Brand of origin

Each brand has its own proprietary technology to attract users, along with the quality and value the brand has created, so when choosing a camera for a surveillance system, the first thing that comes to mind is usually Which brand to choose. Currently, there are many reputable brands for you to choose from such as Kbvision, Dahua, Imou, Hikvision, Kbone….

2. Night vision ability

Need to find out about the camera’s night vision capabilities, how far it can support. For example, for surveillance cameras, it supports observation from about 3 to 8m, just enough to install indoors mainly. If using a wifi camera installed on the balcony, the night vision ability of the wireless wifi camera is slightly weaker than other products.

3. Built-in features on surveillance cameras

Surveillance cameras today are very diverse in terms of support features, you can choose cameras based on features and prices that suit your needs. For example, the built-in motion detection alarm features such as Push Video on the market have cameras Kbvision, Dahua, Imou, Hikvision, Kbone…. this function is integrated. When there is movement within the monitoring range of the camera, the system automatically sends a notification to the camera system manager to see the activities / movements taking place at the monitoring place.
